Product configuration
The diagrams below label the main parts of each winder style: the glass window, watch pillow, rotator, mode switch or control panel, light switch and power input port.

Battery is not included. A power adapter is included.
Getting started
When the watch is close to stopping or has already stopped ticking, wind it manually, or wear it on the wrist for more than 2 hours until it starts ticking again. Then follow these steps:
- Load the watch on the pillow firmly.
- Plug the power adapter into the power input port and toggle the power switch.
- Select a program mode using the control on your winder (see below).
Models with a mode switch knob
Select one of the five program modes using the mode switch knob.
- Mode 1: Off.
- Mode 2: 2 minutes clockwise (CW), rest 6 minutes, repeat.
- Mode 3: 2 minutes counter-clockwise (CCW), rest 6 minutes, repeat.
- Mode 4: 2 minutes CW, rest 6 minutes, 2 minutes CCW, rest 6 minutes, repeat.
- Mode 5: 5 minutes CW, 5 minutes CCW, repeat the cycle for 3 hours, rest 9 hours, then repeat the entire cycle.

Models with an LCD control keyboard
- Light: turns the interior light on or off.
- Rotator setting (Line): Line 1 to Line 4 control rotator 1 to rotator 4 respectively, so each rotator can work individually. Line 0 controls all rotators together.
- Turns per day (TPD): 650, 900, 1350, 1800 or 2200 TPD.
- Direction: clockwise (CW) or counter-clockwise (CCW).
- On/Off: start or stop.

Models with push-button control
Modes 0 to 6 are shown on the 7-segment display.
- Mode 0: Stop.
- Mode 1: Counter-clockwise 2 minutes, stop 16 minutes, repeat. 1000 TPD.
- Mode 2: Counter-clockwise 2 minutes, stop 10 minutes, repeat. 1500 TPD.
- Mode 3: Clockwise 2 minutes, stop 16 minutes, counter-clockwise 2 minutes, stop 16 minutes, repeat. 1000 TPD.
- Mode 4: Clockwise 2 minutes, stop 10 minutes, counter-clockwise 2 minutes, stop 10 minutes, repeat. 1500 TPD.
- Mode 5: Clockwise 2 minutes, stop 16 minutes, repeat. 1000 TPD.
- Mode 6: Clockwise 2 minutes, stop 16 minutes, repeat. 1500 TPD.
Default operation
- When the winder is powered up, it starts at mode 3 on the display. When the door is open, rotation stops.
- Short-press the push button to step the mode number up, from mode 0 to 6. Mode 0 stops rotation.
- Long-press the button to switch the current mode to mode 0.
- With no operation, the display turns off after 10 seconds.
In stop mode, pressing the push button shows mode 0 on the display and the motor stays still. If the button is pressed again within 10 seconds, the mode number increases with each press.
Choosing the right direction and TPD
Use our Watch Winder TPD & Direction Finder, or contact ZOSS North America, for the TPD and rotation direction required by your watch brand and model.
You can also run mode 2 (CW) for 48 hours as a trial. If the watch keeps running steadily without stopping, the direction suits the watch and this is the correct setting. If the watch runs very slowly or stops, wind it, set the correct time, and try again with mode 4. Watches that wind in the opposite direction are rare, but there are exceptions. If two watches on the same rotator cannot be wound in the same direction, place them on different rotators (winders with two or more rotators only).
Precautions for use
- Stop winding or power off the winder before loading or unloading a watch on the pillow.
- Do not use battery and power supply at the same time, to prevent electronic and motor damage. Make sure to use the proper product power adapter.
- Rest the winder for 12 hours after continuous use for more than one month. This extends the motor's life span.
- The maximum watch weight for each rotator is 450 grams. A heavier watch will damage the motor.
