About this policy
ZOSS Watch Winders (“ZOSS”, “we”, “us”) operates zosswatchwinders.com. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you browse our store, buy a winder, watch box or safe, request a custom-safe quotation, upload artwork, or contact us. Watches shown in our guides are for information; ZOSS does not sell watches.
Information you provide
We collect contact and delivery details, order details and payment confirmations needed to process purchases and support requests. Account information is processed through Shopify’s account services. For a custom-safe enquiry, we collect the preferences, dimensions, budget, delivery information, notes and logo files you choose to submit through Powerful Form Builder (Globo). Upload only artwork you own or have permission to use, and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
Information collected automatically
Our store and its service providers use cookies and similar technologies to process shopping-cart activity, remember preferences, measure visits and support advertising. This can include your IP address, browser and device details, pages and products viewed, interactions and referral information. Payment providers process payment credentials through their own systems.
How we use information
We use information to fulfil orders, arrange delivery, prepare quotations and artwork requests, provide support and warranty service, prevent fraud, maintain business records and comply with legal obligations. We also use it for marketing and audience measurement, subject to applicable consent requirements and your choices. Optional marketing consent may be withdrawn without stopping necessary order communications.
Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information as necessary to Shopify, payment processors, the quote-form provider, delivery and fulfilment providers, and technical/support providers. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. Providers may process information outside your country, including in Canada, the United States, Hong Kong and other locations where their services operate. Advertising pixels and customer-list sharing
ZOSS uses advertising pixels and shares customer-list information with advertising partners for audience matching, campaign measurement and relevant advertising, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Information involved may include contact identifiers, purchase information and website usage data. Partners such as Google, Meta and TikTok process information under their own privacy notices when their advertising tools are used. These disclosures can qualify as “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws, even when no money is paid for the data. You may request an opt-out by emailing sales@zosswatchwinders.com with the subject “Privacy opt-out”. We will process the request in accordance with applicable law, including excluding your identifiable information from customer-list sharing where required.
Cookies and your choices
Use the cookie or privacy controls displayed on the site, where available, and your browser settings to manage cookies. Blocking essential cookies can affect checkout or account functions. Browser blocking does not automatically remove you from previously shared customer lists; contact us for that request. Information about Shopify cookies is available in Shopify’s cookie policy. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy or transfer of your information, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising. You may use an authorized representative where permitted. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. If you disagree with our response, reply to request a review or contact the privacy regulator for your jurisdiction, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described above, including order, warranty, tax and legal records, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable requirements. We use reasonable safeguards; no online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send payment credentials or other sensitive documents by ordinary email.
Children, external links and updates
Our services are intended for adult customers. If a child has submitted personal information, their parent or guardian may ask us to delete it. External websites and embedded services, including Google Maps and social platforms, have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services or requirements change; the current version is published here.
